Chapter 1: The Arrangement of "Daddy's Little Virgin"
I was saving myself. He took everything.
The words echo in my head like a drumbeat, steady and inescapable, matching the frantic rhythm of my pulse at my throat. I sit on the edge of a velvet-upholstered chair in a room that smells like aged mahogany, expensive leather, and something darker, something that clings to the back of my throat and makes my knees weak. The floor-to-ceiling windows are black glass, reflecting the low amber glow of brass sconces and the silhouette of a man standing too still, too perfect, too far away.
I’ve rehearsed this moment a hundred times. In the shower. In the mirror. In the quiet hours when sleep won’t come and the weight of what I’m about to do presses down on my ribs like a physical thing. I told myself I was doing it for a reason. For stability. For a future that doesn’t look like the same tired loop of dead-end jobs and empty apartments. I told myself I was smart about it. Calculated. But standing here, waiting for him to speak, I realize how painfully naive I’ve been. You don’t calculate a storm. You just brace for impact.
The door clicks shut. The lock engages. The sound is small, final, and it sends a jolt straight down my spine.
He’s here.
I don’t move. I don’t breathe. I just watch as he steps further into the light, and the air in the room changes density, thickens, becomes something I can barely pull into my lungs. He’s older. Not just in years, but in presence. There’s a weight to him that isn’t physical, though he’s built like a man who knows how to use his body. Broad shoulders in a charcoal suit that fits like it was tailored to his exact measurements. A white shirt unbuttoned just enough at the collar to reveal the sharp line of his throat. No tie. Sleeves rolled to the forearms, showing veins that map out control and history. His hair is dark, threaded with silver at the temples, swept back in a way that looks deliberate, effortless. His face is all hard angles and quiet intensity: high cheekbones, a strong jaw shadowed by stubble, eyes the color of wet slate that don’t blink, don’t waver, just assess.
He stops three feet from me. Close enough that I can see the faint scar cutting through his left eyebrow. Close enough that I catch the scent of him—sandalwood, rain, something metallic and clean. He doesn’t smile. He doesn’t need to. His silence is a command.
"Look at me," he says. His voice is low, rough at the edges, smooth as polished stone. It doesn’t rise. It doesn’t need to. It just settles over me like a heavy blanket, pressing me back into the chair.
I lift my chin. Hold his gaze. My heart is hammering so hard I’m sure he can hear it.
"Good girl," he murmurs. The words are quiet, almost casual, but they hit me like a physical touch. Heat flushes my chest. My fingers curl into the fabric of my skirt.
He takes a slow step forward. Then another. He doesn’t rush. He never rushes. He circles the chair like a predator who already knows the prey isn’t running. Stops on my right side. One hand rests on the back of the chair, right above my shoulder. The leather creaks softly under his grip. I can feel the heat radiating from him, even through the space of a hand.
"You read the contract," he says. It’s not a question. "You understood it. You signed it. So I’m going to save us both the time and ask: are you still standing here because you want to, or because you’re too stubborn to admit you’re terrified?"
I swallow. My throat is dry. "Both."
A faint smirk touches his mouth. Gone almost instantly. "Honest. I appreciate that." He leans down, just slightly, until his face is level with mine. His eyes drop to my lips, then back up. The intensity in them is suffocating. "You said you were saving yourself. Why?"
The question catches me off guard. I expected terms. Boundaries. Financial arrangements. Not this. Not him asking me to justify the most intimate thing I own.
"I didn’t want it to be casual," I say, voice steadier than I feel. "I didn’t want it to mean nothing. I wanted it to mean something when it happened. To someone who mattered."
He studies me. The silence stretches. I can feel his gaze tracing the line of my jaw, the pulse jumping at my throat, the slight tremor in my hands folded in my lap.
"Matter is a luxury," he says finally. "Most men don’t have time for it. They take. They leave. They don’t stay. But you didn’t come to me for a man. You came to me for an arrangement. So let’s be clear about what that actually means."
He straightens. Steps back. The sudden absence of his proximity makes me shiver. He walks to the desk behind him, picks up a sleek black folder, and drops it onto the small table beside my chair. The thud is heavy. Final.
"This isn’t a relationship," he says, voice flat, devoid of warmth but heavy with authority. "It’s a contract. I provide stability. Security. A life that doesn’t look like the one you’re crawling out of. In return, you give me your body. Your obedience. Your loyalty. When I want it, it’s mine. When I say stop, you stop. When I tell you to wait, you wait. No questions. No negotiations. You belong to me while this arrangement lasts, and you don’t get to pretend otherwise."
My breath hitches. It’s exactly what I asked for. Exactly what I agreed to. But hearing it spoken aloud, in that voice, makes it real. Makes it terrifying. Makes it fucking intoxicating.
"And if I say no now?" I ask, voice barely above a whisper.
He looks at me. Really looks at me. The air between us crackles.
"You won’t," he says. Not arrogant. Certain. Like he’s already read the rest of the page. "Because you’re already sweating through your blouse. Because your hands are shaking. Because you’ve been waiting for someone to take the reins since you were sixteen and realized you weren’t going to survive this world by playing nice." He steps closer again. Slow. Deliberate. Stops just outside my personal space. Close enough that I can feel the warmth of his thigh if I leaned forward. "You don’t get to fold now, sweetheart. You signed. You meant it. And I don’t take back what’s mine."
The word hits me like a spark to dry tinder. *Mine.* It echoes in my skull, bouncing off the walls of my chest, settling somewhere deep and dangerous. I should pull away. I should stand up, grab my purse, walk out that door and pretend none of this happened. But I don’t move. I can’t. The weight of his presence pins me in place. The gravity of him is too strong.
"Say it," he commands, voice dropping an octave. "Say what you’re here to do."
I close my eyes. Swallow hard. Open them. Hold his gaze.
"I’m here to be yours," I whisper.
His jaw tightens. Just a fraction. A flicker of something dark and satisfied passes through his eyes. He reaches out. Slow. Measured. His fingers brush the back of my neck. The touch is feather-light, but it sends a shockwave straight down my spine. My breath catches. My skin prickles.
"Good," he murmurs. His thumb traces a slow, deliberate line down the nape of my neck. The heat of it is unbearable. "Then listen carefully. You don’t call me by your name. You don’t call me boss. You don’t call me sir. You call me what you are to me. What you’ll always be, as long as you stay."
My pulse is a wild thing in my throat. My lips part. The word forms before I can second-guess it.
"Daddy."
The sound of my own voice saying it makes me tremble. It’s not something I’ve ever said. Not to anyone. Not in dreams. But here, under his gaze, it feels like the only truth I’ve ever known.
His hand stills. For a heartbeat, the room is completely still. Then he exhales, slow and controlled, but I see it—the shift in his posture, the tightening of his grip on my neck, the darkening of his eyes.
"Again," he says. Rougher now. Deeper. "Louder. Mean it."
"Daddy," I say, voice firmer this time. My chest is tight. My skin is on fire. "I’m yours. I’m your little virgin. I’m here for you."
He doesn’t smile. But something in his face softens, just at the edges. Possessive. Satisfied. Feral.
"Damn right you are." He finally removes his hand. The loss of contact is immediate, aching. He turns away, walks to the window, and stares out at the city lights. "You’ll move into the east wing tomorrow. Staff will handle your belongings. You won’t need to carry your own bags. You won’t need to carry anything but what I give you. Your past is irrelevant. Your needs are secondary. Your pleasure is mine to grant. Your pain is mine to manage. You understand the hierarchy here? It’s not a partnership. It’s a structure. And you’re at the bottom of it, because that’s where you’re safest. Where you’re cared for. Where you’re kept."
I nod. Once. Twice. My throat is tight. My eyes burn, but not from sadness. From the sheer, overwhelming weight of being seen, claimed, and handed a purpose so much larger than the small life I’d carved out for myself.
"I understand," I whisper.
He turns back. Studies me. The silence stretches, thick and charged. Then he steps forward again. Closes the distance. Stops so close I can see the faint stubble on his jaw, the dark flecks in his slate-gray eyes, the sharp line of his mouth.
"Look up," he commands.
I tilt my head back. His hand comes up, fingers sliding into my hair. Not gentle. Not cruel. Possessive. He grips just enough to anchor me, to pull my head back until my neck arches, until my eyes lock with his. The angle puts my throat completely exposed. My breath hitches. My skin burns.
"You’re clean," he says, voice low, rough. "I had you tested. Three times. You’re healthy. You’re young. You’re untouched. That’s not a flaw. That’s a privilege. I don’t take what’s been touched by careless hands. I take what’s waiting. What’s pristine. What’s mine to break in and fill." His thumb brushes my lower lip. I don’t pull away. I can’t. "You think this is about sex. It’s not. This is about surrender. About giving up the illusion of control. About letting a man who knows what he wants decide when, how, and where you feel. When I decide you’re ready to open for me, you will. When I decide you’re ready to take me inside you, you will. When I decide you’re carrying my seed, you will. You don’t get to rush it. You don’t get to withhold it. You don’t get to pretend you’re in charge. You’re not. I am. And you’re going to thank me for it."
My chest rises and falls in shallow, rapid bursts. My skin is humming. My thighs are pressed tight together, instinctively trying to shield what he’s already claimed in words. The heat pooling low in my belly is unfamiliar and terrifying and utterly consuming.
"Yes, Daddy," I breathe. The word falls from my lips like a prayer. Like a surrender. Like the final piece of a puzzle snapping into place.
His grip tightens slightly. A low, rough sound escapes him. Not quite a growl. Not quite a sigh. Something in between. Something hungry.
"Good girl," he repeats, voice dropping to a whisper that vibrates straight through my ribs. "You’ll learn quickly. You’ll obey without hesitation. You’ll present yourself when summoned. You’ll keep yourself clean, ready, waiting. And when I finally take you properly—when I finally push past that pretty little hymen and fill you with what’s yours—you won’t flinch. You’ll take it. You’ll bear it. You’ll carry it like the gift it is. Because that’s what I’m here to do. That’s what you signed up for. You wanted something that mattered. I’m going to make you carry my legacy. I’m going to breed you. And you’re going to be proud of it."
The words are explicit. Raw. Unapologetic. They shouldn’t shatter me. They should make me run. But they don’t. They do the opposite. They root me. They anchor me. They make the world outside this room feel like noise, like static, like nothing. Because here, in this space, under his command, I’m not lost. I’m found.
I nod. Tears prick at the corners of my eyes, but I don’t let them fall. I won’t give him the satisfaction. Not yet.
"Stand up," he says.
I rise. My legs are steady. My hands are still. He steps back. Studies me from head to toe. The silence is heavy, but it’s not uncomfortable. It’s expectant.
"Turn around," he orders.
I do. The cool air hits the back of my neck. The silk of my blouse rustles. I wait.
He circles me. Slow. Methodical. His fingers trail down my spine, light as breath, leaving a path of heat in their wake. He stops behind me. One hand settles on my waist. The other slides up, fingers tangling in my hair again. He pulls my head back, just slightly. His lips brush the shell of my ear.
"You’re trembling," he murmurs. Voice dark. Satisfied. "Good. It means you understand what’s coming. It means you’re not lying to yourself anymore. You wanted to save yourself for someone who mattered. You found him. Now stop fighting it. Stop overthinking it. Let go. I’ve got you. I always will. As long as you stay. As long as you obey. As long as you’re mine."
His hand slides around my waist, pulling me back against him. Just slightly. Enough that I feel the hard line of his stomach against my lower back. Enough that I catch the full weight of him. The heat. The solid reality. My breath catches. My thighs press together. My heart hammers.
"Say it again," he commands against my neck. "Say what you are."
"Daddy’s little virgin," I whisper. The words are shaky, but true. "I’m yours. I’m waiting. I’m ready."
He exhales against my skin. A low, rough sound. Possessive. Final.
"Then we’re done here," he says, stepping back. The loss of contact is immediate, but the mark he’s left on me isn’t physical. It’s psychological. Irreversible. "Go upstairs. Room three. Your staff will be waiting. Shower. Change. Sleep. You’ll be summoned tomorrow at eight. Don’t be late. Don’t wear anything that doesn’t make it easy for me to pull off your clothes. And don’t you dare doubt this arrangement again. Not once. You signed your name. You gave your word. I don’t break my promises. And I don’t let mine break them."
I turn. Face him. Bow my head slightly. A gesture I didn’t know I knew, but my body knows instinctively.
"Yes, Daddy," I say. Clear. Steady. Certain.
He studies me for a long moment. Then, just once, he nods. A silent acknowledgment. A silent claim.
"Go," he says.
I walk to the door. Don’t look back. I know he’s watching. I know he’ll watch. I know the weight of his gaze will follow me up the stairs, into the elevator, down the hall, into the room that’s no longer mine, but his. The door clicks shut behind me. The lock engages.
I stand there for a long moment. Breathing. Heart pounding. Skin still humming. The words echo in my skull. *Daddy’s little virgin.* *I was saving myself. He took everything.*
And he did. Not with force. Not with violence. But with presence. With certainty. With a command so absolute it bypassed my mind and settled straight into my bones. I didn’t just give him my body. I gave him my surrender. My future. My self.
I press my hand to my chest. Feel my heart beating. Fast. Wild. Alive.
I walk down the hall. The carpet swallows my footsteps. The lights are low. The air is cool. But I’m burning from the inside out.
I don’t know what tomorrow will bring. I don’t know what he’ll ask of me. I don’t know how it will feel when he finally takes what’s mine to give. But I know one thing.
I’m not going back.
I’m his now.
And for the first time in my life, I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
The door to my room opens before I reach it. A maid stands there, head bowed, hands folded. "Miss? Your things have been unpacked. Your bath is drawn. Master has requested you be present at eight. He’ll send for you when he’s ready."
I nod. Step inside. The room is everything I imagined and more. Soft linens. Silk robes. A view of the city. A closet full of clothes that cost more than my old car. But none of it matters. None of it is mine. Not really.
I walk to the window. Look out at the city lights. Think of him. His voice. His hands. His eyes. The weight of his command. The certainty of his claim.
I was saving myself.
He took everything.
And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
