The Photo

917 words · 5 min read

The heavy cardboard envelope crinkled in my hands, a sound that always made my pulse jump. I'd been waiting for it since the assembly, watching the faculty carry the stack of glossy prints back to the office, counting the minutes until I could get my hands on them. I walked into the master bedroom, the door clicking shut behind me, sealing us in our private world. He was sitting on the edge of the duvet, tie loosened, shirt sleeves rolled up to reveal the forearms I loved to wrap around. He looked up, those dark eyes scanning me, and I saw the shift in his demeanor. The shift from father to owner.

"They're here," I said, my voice dripping with honey. I dropped onto the mattress before him, the envelope in one hand, a playful smirk on my lips. "The official Homecoming photos. I thought you'd want the first look."

He didn't hesitate. He reached out, his hand covering mine, his thumb stroking the corner of the envelope. "For me? I'm honored." He pulled the photos out, fanning them across his knees. The room was filled with the soft rustle of glossy paper, the scent of ink and cellulose mixing with the musk of his cologne.

I watched him scan them. There was the group shot, me in the center, flanked by the squad, my smile bright and practiced. There was the candid of me laughing with the captain, the sash slipping off one shoulder. There was a posed shot with my parents, where I looked demure, hand on my mother's shoulder, the crown resting lightly on my head. But then his gaze stopped. He lingered.

He held up the one I'd saved for last. The court shot.

I was standing alone on the polished hardwood, the audience blurred in the background. The lighting was dramatic, casting long shadows that accentuated my curves. I was wearing the full regalia: the white silk gown that clung to every swell of my breasts, the sash draped diagonally across my chest, the heavy diamond crown perched atop my head. My pose was deliberate, arrogant. One hand resting on my hip, fingers splayed, the other raised to touch the crown. My head was tilted back, lips parted in a breathless smile, eyes looking down through the lashes with a gaze that was half-innocent, half-temptation. It was the look of a queen claiming her throne.

"This is my favorite," he murmured, his voice low and rough. He didn't look up; he was too focused on the image, his eyes devouring the details. "The way the light catches the crown. The way you're looking at the camera like you know something they don't."

I knew. I always knew. It wasn't just the aesthetic. It was the memory of the moment. I'd been posing, the photographer calling out directions, and I'd closed my eyes for a second and thought of him. I'd thought of his hand on my back, the weight of his gaze, the way he'd whispered *good girl* when I walked in. I'd opened my eyes and locked onto the lens with that look. It was a secret communication, a visual whisper of *I belong to you*. The crown wasn't for the university; it was for him. The smile wasn't for the crowd; it was a promise of the night to come.

"I want to recreate it," I said, the words tumbling out, urgent and clear. I crawled onto his lap, straddling his thighs, my hands pressing against his chest. "I want to recreate it. Right now. Just us."

A slow, predatory grin spread across his face. He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me flush against him. "You want to recreate it? You'll have to be very precise, sweetheart. I won't accept a poor imitation."

"I never disappoint you," I purred, brushing my lips against his jaw. "Stay right there. I'm going to dress. And I'm going to perform."

I didn't wait for a response. I slid off his lap and ran to the closet, my heart hammering a frantic rhythm against my ribs. I grabbed the garment bag, the silk rustling like a whisper. I laid the gown on the bed, smoothed it out. The crown was in the box, the diamonds sparkling. I picked it up, feeling the weight of it. Power. Beauty. His.

I returned to him, the gown over my arm, the crown in my hand. He was watching, his eyes dark with anticipation. "Dress," I commanded softly.

I turned my back to him, hooking my arms into the straps. I pulled the silk up, the fabric cool and smooth against my skin. It hugged my torso, cinched at the waist, flared over my hips. I turned around, adjusting the sash, draping it over my shoulder. I picked up the crown and placed it on my head, adjusting the prongs until it sat perfectly centered. I looked at him, a queen in her court.

"The camera," I whispered, pointing to his phone on the nightstand.

He picked it up, his movements slow, deliberate. He stood up, backing toward the full-length mirror so he could capture my reflection and me in the frame. I posed. One hand on my hip, the other raised to the crown. I tilted my head, parted my lips, and stared into the lens with that same gaze. The gaze of possession.

*Click. Click. Click.*

"Hold it," he murmured, his voice thick. "Look at me."

I shifted my gaze to him, breaking the fourth wall, locking eyes. I held the pose, my body still, my expression perfect. I could feel his hunger radiating off him, a physical heat that made the air feel thick. I held it for a long moment, letting him memorize me, letting him capture the image of his daughter playing queen.

"Good," he purred. "Now, take it all off. One picture at a time. For me."

My breath hitched. The game had begun.

"First," I said, my voice dropping to a sultry whisper. "The crown."

I reached up, fingers touching the cool metal. I lifted it slowly, the weight lifting from my head. I held it up, examining it, then brought it down to press a soft, wet kiss to the center diamond. I held it out to him. "A picture of the crown."

He tapped the screen. "Click."

"Next," I whispered. "The gown."

I reached for the zipper. I pulled it down slowly, the silk sighing as it loosened. I shrugged the straps off, letting the fabric cascade down my arms. I stepped out, the white silk pooling at my feet. "Picture of the gown."

"Click."

"The bodysuit."

I peeled the black layer from my skin, the fabric straining against my breasts. I pulled it down, revealing the lace beneath. "Picture of the bodysuit."

"Click."

"The lace."

I hooked my thumbs into my panties and slid them down, revealing the damp heat waiting beneath. I stepped out, holding them up. "Picture of the lace."

"Click."

"And finally," I whispered, turning to face him fully, naked, exposed, my eyes dark with lust. "Me."

He tapped the screen one last time. "Click."

"Perfect," he growled. He dropped the phone and closed the distance. His hands were everywhere, rough and possessive. He gripped my hips, pulling me against him. I felt his erection, hard and heavy, pressing against my belly. He kissed me, deep and claiming, his tongue sweeping into my mouth. I moaned, my hands sliding down his chest.

"I recreated it," I whispered against his lips. "Did I do it right, Daddy?"

"You did better," he murmured, lifting me effortlessly. He carried me to the bed, tossing me onto the mattress. I bounced, spreading my arms, inviting him. "You gave me everything."

He crawled over me, a predator pinning his prey. He kissed down my neck, his hands exploring, mapping every curve. He paused at my waist, his fingers digging in. "My favorite photo is the real thing," he whispered. "But I'll keep the pictures forever."

He reached down, his hand sliding between my legs, finding my wetness instantly. I gasped, my hips bucking up to meet his fingers. "Yes, Daddy," I cried. "Please."

He pressed his fingers deep, curling them, and I threw my head back, a moan tearing from my throat. "Take the crown off for me," he commanded, his voice thick with lust. "Take it all off for me. And now, give me everything."

I laughed, a breathless, sexy sound, and reached up, grabbing his face, pulling him down for another bruising kiss as he worked my fingers, as he worshipped my body, as he claimed his own. The photos were on the bed. The crown was on the floor. But I was here. Naked. Seductive. Intimate. His.

And the night was just beginning.
