CHAPTER 2: THE CLAIMING

The water is black glass.

Cold at first. Then warm. Then nothing but pressure and rhythm.

I push through the lanes. Stroke. Breathe. Turn. The city hums two hundred feet below. Neon bleeds across the water. Shadows stretch long and thin along the pool deck. I am alone. I tell myself I am alone.

I know better.

I always know better.

The building is his. The rooftop is his. The salt tiles under my feet are his. The heavy steel door at the far end is his. The silence that follows my splashes is his. Everything is his.

Even me.

I reach the far end. I push off the wall. My lungs burn. I surface. I gasp. I swallow air. I don't look up. I know where he stands. I can feel it. The weight of his gaze. The heat of it. Pressing down on my wet shoulders.

He doesn't make a sound. He never does.

I tread water. I let my hair fall forward. I let the droplets run down my neck. I wait. I always wait. He likes it when I wait. He likes when I know my place before he even speaks it.

The concrete creaks.

One step. Then another.

I turn. Slowly. The deck is slick. My reflection fractures in the shallow water. Then he steps into the edge of it. Tall. Broad. Shadowed but unmistakable. Dark suit jacket. Rolled sleeves. Gold watch catching the low light. Eyes like flint.

Daddy.

He owns the building. He owns the pool. He owns the quiet hours. He owns the way my pulse jumps when I hear his boots. He owns me.

He doesn't smile. He doesn't need to.

"Come here," he says.

His voice is low. Rough. Final.

I don't hesitate. I kick. I swim to the edge. I grab the tiled lip. I pull myself up. Water pours off me in heavy sheets. My skin pales. My nipples tighten. My thighs shake. I stand on the wet concrete. I face him. I let him look.

He steps closer. He doesn't touch me yet. He just watches. He takes in every drip. Every shiver. Every drop of water tracing down my collarbone. He drinks it in. Like I'm a vintage. Like I'm his.

"You've been swimming alone again," he murmurs.

I nod. My throat is too tight to speak.

He reaches out. His fingers brush my jaw. He turns my face toward his. His thumb drags across my bottom lip. It's possessive. It's claiming. It's already happening.

"Rules," he says. "You know the rules."

I know the rules. I whisper them in my head every night. I whisper them while I swim. I whisper them while I lie in bed. He doesn't ask. He doesn't remind. He just makes sure I remember.

I remember.

"The building is mine," I breathe.

"The pool is mine," he says.

"I am yours," I finish.

His jaw tightens. His eyes darken. He steps into my space. He closes the distance. His chest presses against my bare stomach. The heat of him seeps through the water-slicked fabric of my swimsuit. I gasp. I lean into him. I always lean. I always yield.

He doesn't ask permission. He never does.

He grips my waist. His fingers dig in. He lifts me. He pulls me against his thighs. I wrap my legs around his hips without thinking. My knees lock behind him. My arms find his shoulders. He holds me like I weigh nothing. Like I'm already part of him. Like I belong there.

He carries me to the long lounge chair. He sets me down. The vinyl is still damp. The city wind bites. It doesn't matter. He's already stripping me.

His hands go to my suit ties. He yanks them loose. The fabric falls. He doesn't let it cover me. He pushes it down. He lets it pool at my feet. I'm bare. I'm exposed. I'm his.

He stands over me. He looks down. His gaze drags over my breasts. My stomach. My thighs. My core. He sees every inch. He maps every inch. He claims every inch.

"You're dripping," he says.

"I know," I whisper.

"Good."

He drops to his knees.

The water on the deck squelches. The city sounds fade. The night air disappears. There's only him. Only his mouth. Only the heat of him between my thighs.

He doesn't tease. He doesn't play. He goes straight in. He takes my entrance with his mouth. He swallows me whole. His tongue drags up. His lips seal. His hand grips my hip. He pulls me down onto his face. I cry out. I arch. I grip the vinyl chair. I let him work me. Let him open me. Let him make me his.

He eats me like he's starving. Like he's been waiting for this. Like he's been waiting for me. His thumb presses my clit. His tongue curls inside. I'm drowning. I'm gasping. I'm breaking. I fall apart in his mouth. My back bows. My toes curl. My climax hits like a wave. I shatter. I scream. I spill over his tongue. I give him everything.

He doesn't stop. He doesn't let me recover. He rises. He pulls me up by my hips. He drags me to my feet. He spins me. He faces him. He steps back. He unbuckles his belt. The metal clinks. The leather slides free. He drops his pants. He drops his boxers. He frees himself.

He's hard. He's thick. He's ready. He's aching for me.

He grips my wrists. He pins them above my head. He steps into me. He presses the tip against my wetness. He doesn't wait. He doesn't ask. He pushes in.

I gasp. I arch. I take him. I take every inch. He's deep. He's stretching me. He's filling me. I whimper. I cling to his shoulders. I dig my nails into his skin. He doesn't flinch. He only grips tighter. He owns the pain. He owns the pleasure. He owns me.

He pulls back. He slams forward. The chair groans. The night air catches my moans. He sets a brutal pace. He pounds into me. He hammers into me. He claims me with every thrust. His hips snap. His breath hitches. His eyes lock on mine. He won't look away. He won't let me hide. He wants me to see him. He wants me to know who's inside me.

"Daddy," I breathe.

He growls. He thrusts harder. He hits my deepest spot. He finds my womb. He presses against it. He makes me shake. He makes me scream. He makes me beg.

"Look at me," he commands.

I look. I don't look away. I never look away from him.

"You're mine," he says. "You've always been mine. You're carrying my name. You're carrying my seed. You're breeding for me."

He doesn't stop. He doesn't slow. He drives into me. He buries himself to the hilt. He grinds. He rolls his hips. He chases the pressure. He chases the edge. He's close. I can feel it. I can feel his cock swell. I can feel his muscles coil. I can feel him pulsing.

He wants to mark me. He wants to fill me. He wants to leave his claim inside me. He wants me to feel it. He wants me to carry it. He wants me to know exactly what I'm made for.

He grabs my hip. He angles me up. He drives deeper. He hits the spot. He breaks me. I sob. I shake. I cling to him. I fall apart again. I climax with a violent cry. My walls clamp around him. My back bows. My throat opens. I give him everything.

He roars. He thrusts once. Twice. Three times. He bottoms out. He holds me down. He grinds against me. He pulses. He erupts.

Hot thick cum floods me. I feel it. I feel it fill me. I feel it push against my walls. I feel it settle deep. I feel it pool inside me. I feel it claim me. I feel it breed me. I feel it mark me from the inside out.

He doesn't pull out. He doesn't let go. He holds me there. He holds me down. He lets it sink in. He lets it soak. He lets it take root. He whispers in my ear. He breathes against my neck. He owns the moment.

"That's it," he murmurs. "Take it. Take it all. Let it stay. Let it grow. Let it make you mine."

I nod. I'm trembling. I'm dripping. I'm full. I'm his. I'm already his. My body knows it. My blood knows it. My womb knows it.

He pulls out slowly. I whine. I miss him. I miss the weight. I miss the stretch. I miss the fullness. I watch him step back. I watch him zip up. I watch him adjust. I watch him straighten. I watch him look down at me.

He doesn't smile. He doesn't need to. His eyes say it all. He owns the rooftop. He owns the building. He owns the pool. He owns the water. He owns the cum dripping down my thighs. He owns the shiver running through me. He owns me.

He reaches down. He grips my chin. He forces me to look up. He studies my face. He studies my mouth. He studies my eyes. He sees my surrender. He sees my submission. He sees my truth.

"Good girl," he says.

The words hit me like a drug. Like a brand. Like a vow. I melt. I break. I yield. I give in. I'm his. I was always his.

He grabs a towel. He drapes it over my shoulders. He covers me. He doesn't let me go. He pulls me up. He holds me against his chest. I lean into him. I breathe him in. I feel his heartbeat. I feel his arms lock around me. I feel his chin rest on my head. He doesn't let go. He never lets go.

"We're going upstairs," he says.

I nod. I don't resist. I don't want to. I want to stay here. I want to stay inside him. I want to stay claimed. I want to stay bred. But I follow. I always follow. He leads me. I let him.

The elevator doors slide shut. The city disappears. The night fades. The building rises. The floors pass. We go up. We go home. We go to his. We go to us.

The doors open. The penthouse awaits. The floor is marble. The air is cool. The space is vast. He carries me. He doesn't put me down. He walks to the bed. He sets me on the edge. He steps back. He looks at me. He sees me wrapped in his towel. He sees me shaking. He sees me full of him. He sees me his.

He undoes his tie. He drops it. He unbuttons his shirt. He sheds it. He approaches. He kneels. He pulls the towel aside. He looks at my stomach. He looks at my core. He sees the evidence. He sees the claim. He sees the breeding.

He smiles. Finally. A dark. A proud. A possessive smile.

"Perfect," he says.

He stands. He pulls me up. He carries me to the bed. He lays me down. He climbs over me. He pins me. He looks down. He locks eyes. He holds my gaze. He doesn't blink. He doesn't break. He owns the moment. He owns the night. He owns me.

"You'll carry it," he says. "You'll carry my child. You'll carry my name. You'll carry my mark. You'll wear it. You'll feel it. You'll know it every second. Every breath. Every heartbeat."

I nod. I'm already crying. I'm already his. I'm already breeding. I'm already carrying. I'm already his.

He leans down. He kisses me. He claims me. He seals it. He marks me. He tastes himself on my lips. He tastes his claim. He tastes his future. He pulls back. He stares. He owns.

"Sleep," he says. "Rest. Recover. I'll be here. I'll watch. I'll protect. I'll keep you safe. I'll keep you mine. I'll keep you breeding."

I close my eyes. I feel him shift. I feel him settle. I feel his arm wrap around me. I feel his hand rest on my stomach. I feel his warmth. I feel his claim. I feel my body respond. I feel my womb accept. I feel my blood sing.

I'm his. I was always his. I'll always be his.

The night settles. The city sleeps. The building hums. The pool stays empty. The rooftop stays quiet. But inside. Inside I'm full. Inside I'm marked. Inside I'm bred. Inside I'm his.

And I've never been happier.
